Russia prepares for fake elections in temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia - Melitopol mayor
Russia's proxies plan to hold "elections" in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region, in particular in Melitopol
The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, shared the information on the United News national telethon.
"Offices and representatives of all Russian parties have appeared in Melitopol, and the mayor now has a deputy "for the organization of elections" who came from Crimea. But there will be no elections, because the Russians will simply fake the results, as they did with the fake referendum," Fedorov said.
According to the mayor, Russian occupation authorities made Melitopol the so-called center of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region. In addition, they formed branches of Russian parties and organized an "election commission".
According to Fedorov, the "election process" is controlled by political strategist Serhiy Tolmachev, who became the so-called deputy of the occupation "governor" Yevhen Balytskyi.
