US does everything to prevent peace talks with Russia: foreign disinfo, fakes for July 3
Pro-Russian accounts on X have falsely accused President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's wife of using €4.5 million of Western military aid to buy the latest Bugatti model
On July 3, Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation has published anti-Ukrainian fake and disinformation that were published in the world media.
Fake: American blogger Noctis Draven stated on X: "Ukraine supporters will say the Bugatti story is fake. I guess this is also? I'm sure Ukraine, a land known widely for corruption wouldn't use aid money to buy things like cars, boats, homes and plastic surgery... I'm being sarcastic, of course they would."
Refutation: The blogger is spreading falsehoods and narratives as part of the Kremlin's campaign to discredit the Ukrainian government. Its primary objective is to undermine Western support for Ukraine.
Disinformation: Chinese outlet Asia Times wrote: "The most important is that the main Anglo-Saxon players in NATO, namely the US and the UK, strongly oppose any negotiations with Russia. The US has done everything it can, including through sanctions and diplomatic measures, to prevent any dialogue with Russia on any subject (other than prisoner exchanges)"
Refutation: The author of the article falsely accuses Ukraine's allies of refusing to negotiate with Russia. In reality, it is Russia that persists in its terrorist attacks on Ukraine and refuses to engage in fair negotiations.
