The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fakes that the Russian propagandists produced on January 16
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on January 16, Russians launched three major deceptions.
Disinformation: Russian State Duma Speaker V. Volodin said: "The beginning of the "SVO" stopped the third world war".
Fake: The Russian Telegram channel Sheikh Tamir wrote: "Privat started taking money from depositors. Take money from this shack, it may collapse."
Disinformation: Russian Telegram channel Tsargrad TV wrote: "It seems that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing to leave Kharkiv. At least there are clear hints of this. Convoys of expensive foreign cars have been moving from Kharkiv to Kyiv. Rich Kharkiv residents are fleeing...The Ukrainian Armed Forces will either surrender Kharkiv themselves or will soon be defeated there and the city will be occupied by the Russian army."
