'Moldova to return refugees of draft age to Ukraine': Russia spreads new fake

This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security SPRAVDI. 

It is noted that in their propaganda materials, the Russians allegedly refer to a statement by Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi.

In fact, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mihai Popsoi has never made such statements.

“When a minister makes a public statement, it is published on the communication platforms of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the minister. The false statement promotes fabricated facts and talks about non-existent topics in the dialogue and bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine,” the Moldovan ministry emphasized.

They also noted that Popsoi's attribution of fictitious statements is part of a deliberate disinformation campaign aimed at the country to divide or misinform Moldovan society.

• Recently, Russian propagandists began actively spreading reports that a man was killed by Ukrainian border guards near Moldova. The SBGS denied this information.
