Russia spreads fake about evacuation of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region
The Russians are spreading a fake about the partial evacuation of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, which is supposed to be completed by August 25
The Kramatorsk City Military Administration reports.
For example, the Russians are spreading a fake document signed by the head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, which is an order for an alleged partial evacuation.
"The information disseminated by pro-Russian Telegram channels is not true. The order in the photo below does not exist! This is another attempt by Russians to destabilize the situation in the frontline region," the military administration emphasized.
They added that the evacuation from Donetsk region is regulated by the Ukrainian Government’s Resolution No.679-r of August 2, 2022 "On the Mandatory Evacuation of the Population of Donetsk Region," which contains a list of settlements from which it is recommended to leave.
"It (the resolution - ed.) is in force and in no way requires separate orders from any of the local military administrations," the Kramatorsk City Military Administration summarized.
- On August 5, a decision was made to forcibly evacuate families with children from Novohrodivka and Selydove.
- According to the City Military Administration, Russian troops have come almost close to Pokrovsk. The invaders are based a little more than 10 km from the outskirts of the city, so people were urged to evacuate.
- According to the Ministry of Reintegration, more than 197,000 people have been evacuated from the frontline areas of Donetsk region since August 2022 and as of August 2024.
