Reformatting Russia is precondition, not consequence of Ukraine's victory
Ukraine’s policy should seek Russia’s transformation into a set of national democratic states
We need a policy towards Russia.
We have not had one since the Mazepa (Ukrainian military, political and state leader of the 17th century - ed.) days. But now we are catching up on the similarly neglected issue of church independence.
The goal of this policy should be to restructure Russia into a set of national democratic states.
Some say it's unrealistic, it's a dream. But a strategy is essentially a dream translated into a practical plan. Regardless of when the final stages of this plan might come to fruition, the initial steps should be taken in 2023.
Reformatting Russia is not a consequence of our victory over it, but a precondition.
