The day before, on October 31, explosions were also heard in the temporarily occupied Donetsk. Later, it was reported that fuel tanks were burning.
Defense Express experts noted that the attack on the tanks in Donetsk could have been carried out by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, but not with long-range weapons. Given the proximity of the temporarily occupied Donetsk to the front line, i.e. less than 30 kilometers, the strike on enemy logistics in Donetsk could have been carried out either with M142 HIMARS ammunition or JDAM-ER guided bombs.
