Only Zaluzhnyi should talk about Ukraine receiving Western weapons – political scientist Yunus
The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi is the one to speak about Ukraine being supplied with Western weapons, not armchair experts who have no information
Political scientist and international expert Ramis Yunus shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
According to him, Ukraine will be supplied with all the weapons it needs to win, except for nuclear weapons. However, only the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be able to say when this will happen. The political scientist noted that attention should be focused on the situation on the battlefield, which is unfolding in Ukraine’s favor.
"Yes, it may be a difficult war, yes, you have casualties, but your opponent is not Sudan, your opponent is a nuclear power, a geography with such abundant human resources that they do not even keep track of the number of victims. They use them as human meat. And the situation being like this today means that if it were not Russia, but a country with a scale at least as large as Ukraine, the war would have ended long ago with your victory," Ramis Yunus said.
He added that systematic work in this direction continues: the decision of the G7, the arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin. According to the political scientist, this process cannot be stopped.
"Therefore, when someone talks about F-16s, F-15s, Leopards and Bradleys, Abrams, all of this together, we can talk a lot about it, but we don't know exactly what is really needed. It is being pushed in the media, but this topic should be discussed by the people who are the ones to request these weapons. That is, General Zaluzhnyi. What he said then, remember that high-profile speech he gave a few months ago? All the things he has announced have already arrived in Ukraine. This means that he is being listened to, which means that he should be the one to speak on this topic, not armchair experts and all those who do not have that information. So let's wait for the counteroffensive, and then we can talk about whether the tactics were right or wrong," Ramis Yunus emphasized.
