Occupying Russian army forces Ukrainians to go to Russia, takes away money at checkpoints
Russian occupation forces are reportedly trying to use the forced relocation of Ukrainian citizens to the territory of the Russian Federation for personal enrichment
This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar.
"The Russian occupation forces are trying to deliberately exacerbate social tensions in certain areas in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine in order to encourage the local population to move to Russia," Maliar writes.
The number of cases when servicemen of the Russian occupation forces behave rudely and disrespectfully towards the local population has increased.
"For their own enrichment, the occupiers are trying to use the forced departure of citizens to the territory of the Russian Federation," the deputy minister said.
While crossing the checkpoints, the refugees faced threats from Russian servicemen who, under various pretexts, demanded money and valuables from them.
