Political scientist Yevhen Magda is convinced that no European politician was informed about Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine

He expressed this opinion on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"I do not think that at least one European politician had information about Putin's plans to launch a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. As for Merkel, she contributed to the functioning of the Normandy Four. I believe that she should not be blamed for the fact that the Normandy Four turned out to be ineffective. Because its ineffectiveness was because Putin did not want to negotiate with anyone," Magda explained.

The political scientist is convinced that Merkel is considering options for continuing her political career.

"Merkel has always tried to be good for everyone. A native of East Germany, she tried to embody the policy of a united Germany so that there would never be any complaints against her. Therefore, I believe that Merkel is looking for a place to continue her career in the European political arena with her statements," he added.
