Ukraine can produce millions of drones per year - Defense Minister Umerov

He said this during the telethon.

According to the minister, this year the government explained to the market that it would purchase more than a million drones. However, there were no reports on how many Ukrainian manufacturers could produce.

"For our part, we did not say how much we can produce. However, we can produce several million drones, of which the state budget pays for some things, and we receive some funds from partners. That is, our capacity is more than a few million drones. And we are able to do it," Umerov emphasized.

He added that next year Ukraine "will not allow the enemy to bypass it."

"This year we will produce several times more drones," the Defense Minister emphasized.

Umerov also announced the expansion of the missile program.

"We are doing everything to make our missile program closer to the drone program that we have in our country," he said.
