New-old tactics of Russia, when it transferred its own crimes to others, will not work - Zelensky

The head of state said this in a video message.

"You know about the new-old tactics of Russian propagandists who are constantly trying to deny accusations against the Russian military. Why new old? It's simple, because they used the same tactics when the occupiers shot down a Malaysian Boeing over the Donbas. They blamed Ukraine. They even invented various conspiracies, allegedly explanations. They even claimed that the corpses were thrown on board the plane before it crashed. Now they do about the same thing. They also lie, and try to distort the facts. But as back then, they will not succeed. They will not be able to deceive the whole world. There will come a time when every Russian will learn the truth about which of their fellow citizens killed, who ordered, who turned a blind eye to murder. We will establish all this and make it globally known. Now it is 2022. And we have many more tools than those who prosecuted the Nazis after World War II", he said.

According to Zelensky, the invaders are already launching a false campaign to hide their guilt in the massacres of civilians in Mariupol.

"They will make dozens of interviews, staged recordings, they will kill on purpose so that it looks like they were killed by someone else", Zelensky said.
