According to Serhiy Cherevatyi, the spokesperson for the Eastern Grouping of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the average daily losses of Russian troops in the Bakhmut area are significant

He told about this in an interview for RBC-Ukraine.

“With more than 40,000 Russian troops involved in the fighting, equipped with approximately 250 tanks, up to 300 artillery guns, and up to 150 MLRS, the casualties are substantial. Different sources have provided varying figures for the losses. US President Joe Biden mentioned about 100,000 wounded and killed, while John Kirby estimated 100,000 casualties, including 20,000 fatalities. Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov mentioned losses of 70,000, possibly referring to a smaller area,” Cherevatyi emphasized that these figures are relevant considering the daily losses.
