Russia deploys more forces to attempt advance on Lyman-Kupyansk direction - Kara Nebesna UAV crew commander
Andriy Otchenash, commander of the Kara Nebesna UAV crew in the 4th Rubizh Operational Brigade of Ukraine's National Guard, spoke about the situation in the Lyman-Kupyansk direction
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
“The situation is quite tense on the line where the Rubizh brigade is holding the defense. Russian forces are attempting to advance more actively than before, using both equipment and personnel. Their most recent assault was, in a sense, beneficial for us, despite how it might sound. During this attack, we managed to destroy 4 units of Russian equipment and up to 20, or perhaps even more, personnel. The assault was beneficial for us, but not for the Russians. Unfortunately, they continue to storm our positions in an effort to gain any favorable ground. However, the Rubizh brigade is holding their ground firmly. Thanks to this coordinated efforts, the enemy is being actively repelled and is not achieving the results they hoped for,” the military source said.
Andriy Otchenash also addressed the situation with drones at the frontline, noting that Russian forces currently have the advantage in terms of drone numbers.
“The situation is quite interesting when compared to what it was six months ago. There has been a significant improvement, with many more drones now than before. However, compared to the Russian side, we still have far fewer drones. This disparity creates certain problems and difficulties,” he emphasized.
- Oles Maliarevych, deputy commander of Ukraine's 92nd Brigade's Achilles Battalion, says that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are doing everything possible to prevent Russia from advancing further.
