Russia is pushing its infantry to assault: Legion of Freedom fighter on Zaporizhzhia direction
Legion of Freedom fighter Kostyantyn Denysov noted that Russians are trying to regain lost ground in the Zaporizhzhia direction
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The enemy does not stop offensive actions, using aviation, artillery, drones. Russians are using armored vehicles to launch infantry assaults. The enemy has microscopic advances, but they have spent a lot of resources on it. The enemy is piling bodies and shells on the battlefield, but our guys are fighting back and counterattacking whenever possible. These efforts are focused on deterring and preventing the advance of Russian troops. Now the occupiers are trying to level the line of contact. They want to cut off the ledges they lost during intense fighting last year," Denysov emphasized.
According to the Legion of Freedom fighter, Russian troops may soon get exhausted, as it is very difficult to conduct combat operations at such an intense pace on such a narrow section of the front.
"Ukrainian forces are destroying enemy artillery and armored vehicles. Currently, the enemy is not supplying the Zaporizhzhia direction as intensively as it used to. The Russians are trying to recapture Robotyne and Pyatykhatky, although these settlements no longer exist. They are deploying their infantry to assault, sparing no people. There were instances that they gave three people one assault rifle," noted Denysov.
- Over the past day, Russian troops tried to launch an assault in the Kherson direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 14 attacks and eliminated 830 Russian soldiers.
