Ukrainian defense forces eliminate Russian boat, 830 soldiers and 46 artillery systems in a day

General Staff report: Russian troops conducted 14 unsuccessful assaults

Near the state Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders defeated 5 Russian troops' attacks near Ivanivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled an attack near Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces rebuffed a Russian attack near Klishchiivka, Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders are holding back the invading Russian forces, who keep trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Ukrainian Defense Forces fought off 16 Russian troops' attacks near Avdiivka and another 6 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region over the last day.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops are holding back the Russian forces near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian forces beat back 11 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled a Russian troops' attack south of Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces countered a Russian attack near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions and repel the occupying Russian forces' attacks. Despite significant losses, the Russian troops continue trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the past day, the invading Russian forces carried out 14 unsuccessful assault operations.

Russian army carried out 85 air strikes and fired 79 MLRS in Ukraine

Over the last day, 63 combat engagements took place. In total, the Russian military launched 2 missiles, one of which was a Kh-59 guided missile at the civilian infrastructure of Myrnohrad, Donetsk region. The Russian troops also carried out 85 air strikes and fired 79 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian positions and localities.

At night, the Russian forces struck again, using 25 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 11 Russian drones.

5 settlements in Kharkiv region; Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; 14 settlements in Donetsk region; Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia region; 5 settlements in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

More than 150 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

During the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 13 Russian concentration areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 1 anti-aircraft missile system.

Ukrainian missile units struck 2 Russian concentration areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 4 artillery pieces and an electronic warfare station.

Yesterday, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine eliminated a missile boat of the 41st Missile Boat Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the western part of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

• On the night of February 2, the occupying Russian army launched attack drones into southern Ukraine. There is damage in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and air defense forces were working in Kropyvnytskyi.
