Russia disperses forces between Robotyne and Verbove: new Russian tactics in Zaporizhzhia sector

Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of Ukraine's Southern Defense Forces, told this during a telethon.

"By dispersing its forces between Robotyne and Verbove, the enemy is trying to measure the strength of the defense of Ukrainian forces in each of these areas," she said.

Humeniuk emphasized that subversive groups are also attempting to enter Robotyne.

"But once they enter, they are convinced that they are not welcome there, being immediately pushed out and, as our soldiers say, return to their original positions. Those, of course, who can leave," the military emphasized.

Humeniuk added that in the Zaporizhzhia sector, Russia launched 7 attacks in the last day, which were unsuccessful. At the same time, according to her, Russian losses continue to be quite high.

"Over the past day, we managed to destroy about 140 occupiers. In fact, with a slight advantage, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions have parity figures. And about 50 units of armored vehicles, although the enemy does not use armored vehicles during assaults," the speaker noted.

• According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 97 combat engagements took place on the frontline between the two armies over the past day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled Russia's attacks in 6 directions and killed 1030 soldiers.
