26th Separate Artillery Brigade identifies priority areas for Russian troops near Bakhmut
Oleh Kalashnikov, head of the press service of the 26th Separate Artillery Brigade, noted that Russian troops have concentrated significant forces in the Bakhmut direction
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Fighting continues along the entire section of the Bakhmut direction. The enemy tried to storm Ukrainian positions near Bohdanivka and Ivanivske. They tried to carry out offensives using both infantry units and military equipment. The occupiers suffered losses and were pushed back to their positions. Near Klishchiivka, the Russians used only small infantry groups, but they also suffered losses and were pushed back. But after that, the enemy tried to use high-explosive aircraft bombs on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Klishchiivka," noted Kalashnikov.
According to the head of the press service of the 26th separate artillery brigade, Russian troops have concentrated quite significant forces in the Bakhmut direction.
"The situation has been difficult for several days. Suffice it to say that the enemy has sent the 11th separate airborne assault brigade and the 102nd motorized rifle regiment, which has been conducting assault operations for a long time, to the small village of Ivanivske. This area was also reinforced by one of the units of the 98th Airborne Division of the Russian Federation. This indicates that such areas as Ivanivske, Bohdanivka, Khromove, and Stupochky are very high priorities for the enemy. That is why the Russians are trying to achieve at least some success here, but they have not been able to do so lately. The enemy is suffering losses," emphasized Kalashnikov.
- Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles battalion of the 92nd separate assault brigade, noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to stabilize the situation in the Bakhmut direction.
- At least 70 combat clashes took place between the two armies over the past day. Ukrainian troops eliminated at least 750 Russian soldiers and 16 armored combat vehicles.
