Matter of Months - Polish Defense Minister tells what is needed for Ukraine's victory in war
Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak believes that the war in Ukraine will last for months. To win, the West's support should remain at a consistently high level
He said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
"It's more a matter of months than weeks," Blaszczak said when asked how long the war in Ukraine would last.
According to him, Russia has failed, no matter how hard it tries to demonstrate the success of the so-called military operation.
"Ukrainians have already won the first stage of this war. They pushed the Russians away from Kyiv, stopped them in the east and are successfully holding a long front line. Russia, despite all its propaganda of success, has failed, and the 'special military operation' that was supposed to end in a few days has pushed the Russians into a long conflict that has discredited them internationally and in which they are suffering huge losses," the Polish defense minister said.
The Minister emphasized that continuing support for Ukraine from the West is the only way to win and maintain the fundamental principles of international law in relations between states.
