Lukashenko threatens that Russia will give Belarus nuclear munitions if Britain supplies Ukraine with depleted uranium shells
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Aleksander Lukashenko, said that Russia might hand over nuclear ammunition to Minsk if Ukraine receives uranium shells from Great Britain
This is reported by BELTA.
According to Lukashenko, Russia can transfer "munitions with real uranium" to Belarus if Ukraine receives British shells with depleted uranium.
"Then Russia will supply us with ammunition with real uranium. If they are crazy, they will give this impetus. This is the scariest and most dangerous thing. Therefore, we need to step aside a little from the madness," Lukashenko said.
He warned that if these munitions are used, Russia's response will be dire.
"As soon as these munitions explode on the Russian troops positions, you will see: the response will be a terrible lesson for the entire planet. Russia has more than depleted uranium, you know that very well," Lukashenko said.

On March 21, the British Deputy Defense Minister announced that, in addition to tanks, the country will provide Ukraine with shells containing depleted uranium. The Russian government said that London's actions undermine strategic stability in the whole world, and Putin claimed that "the West has indeed decided to fight with Russia to the last Ukrainian."

The British Ministry of Defense claimed that Putin is engaging in deliberate disinformation by publicly criticizing the decision to send depleted uranium munitions to Ukraine.
