Ukraine to receive second SAMP-T system from Italy by late September
Italy will supply Ukraine with a second SAMP-T air defense system by late September

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto announced this, RAI News reports.
"By the end of the month, the new SAMP-T system will be delivered to Ukraine," Crosetto assured.
He also emphasized that Italy knows how much every minute of delay costs.
For reference: SAMP-T (Surface-to-Air Missile Platform - Terminal) is a modern anti-aircraft missile system developed jointly by France and Italy. It is designed to intercept ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as aircraft flying at low altitudes.
- On September 16, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced the transfer of the second battery of SAMP-T anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
