He shared the information on Espreso TV.

“The enemy (Russian troops - ed.) has become more active in the Pridniprovskyi direction, trying to conduct combat operations on the Dnipro Islands. So far, they have not succeeded. Where the enemy has temporarily gained a foothold, our comrades promise to carry out a cleansing operation and the islands will be liberated. The enemy has not made any tactical advances in this area,” explained Bratchuk.

According to the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South, Russian troops are more active at the Vremivka bridgehead, on the border of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

“The enemy is trying to advance towards Vuhledar. The use of unguided aerial missiles was spotted on the flank near Huliaipole. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded. In the Orikhiv direction, the use of aircraft weapons was also recorded, although there were few assault actions, but they did take place,” noted Bratchuk.

Bratchuk also added that the Russian army is actively moving. This may be due to rotations or maneuvers.

“There is information support for these actions - the Russians are preparing for an offensive. A week ago they expected us to operate in Zaporizhzhia, but now the situation has changed dramatically in the information field,” Bratchuk summarized.

  • Over the past day, 194 combat clashes took place between the two armies at the front. The Russian army launched 4,800 attacks on the territory of Ukraine.
