Life on frontline: Ukrainian soldiers show how people survive in Huliaipole
The soldiers of the 102nd separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have filmed how people live today in Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region
Soldiers published the video on their Facebook page, Espreso TV reports.
Huliaipole is located in the Zaporizhzhia region. Today it is constantly suffering from shelling by Russian troops. The Territorial Defense fighters from Ivano-Frankivsk region showed how people are trying to survive during the war.
In the video, a Huliaipole local describes the town’s reality now. He shows the apartment building he and some more residents live in. The building is damaged due to Russian shelling, missing windows and doors in places. The man currently lives in the basement, as he believes it to be safer. The place is almost abandoned, less than a dozen people have stayed. The man shows the now abandoned apartments of his friends and acquaintances, damaged by Russian attacks, and recalls peaceful life. He curses Russian soldiers for destroying his home.
For reference. The 102nd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade is a cadre formation of the territorial defense troops of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The brigade is part of the West Operational Command.
