Kostyantyn Zhevago has nothing to do with Supreme Court situation 

Kostyantyn Zhevago has never given and could never give such instructions to anyone. He urges the media not to disseminate unconfirmed information, not to become an instrument of manipulation and not to involve him in matters to which he has nothing to do.

Some media outlets draw parallels in this case with the decision of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of April 19, 2023, in the case of recognizing the legality of Ferrexpo's acquisition of a stake in the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant in 2002. As you know, one of the shareholders of this international company is Kostyantyn Zhevago.

"This is obviously a groundless connection and a clear fraud. The Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court made its April ruling not in my personal interests, but in the interests of a large, public company with respected shareholders, which is traded on the main floor of the London Stock Exchange. The Supreme Court has made a legally sound decision. It stopped an attempt by dubious offshore companies associated with individuals on the US and European sanctions lists, including Russian citizens, to take over a major industrial asset. The other shareholders and I believe that it is in the highest court of Ukraine that we can still protect our legal rights," said Ferrexpo's co-owner.

At the same time, Mr. Zhevago suggested that the current events around the Supreme Court may be aimed at discrediting this state body. Law enforcement agencies that have publicly stated that they have detected signs of bribery must prove their accusations through an evidentiary investigation, with a court verdict.

For his part, the businessman assured that, if necessary, he and the lawyers of the respective companies are ready to provide all the necessary explanations to the investigation and the courts.

"I would like to emphasize that we are interested in a transparent investigation of this case in order to remove all suspicions and confirm our reputation in Ukraine and among foreign partners," said Kostyantyn Zhevago.
