From this document, you can learn about the politician's childhood in the village of Staryi Uhryniv, south of Kalush. In particular, about how he personally experienced the Russian invasion of Galicia.
“During the First World War, as a young child, I experienced the four-fold movement of the war fronts through my native village in 1914-1915 and 1917, and in 1917, heavy two-week battles. The Austrian-German front passed through Uhryniv, and our house was partially destroyed by artillery projectiles - ed.),” Bandera wrote about himself.
He also lists which of his relatives and friends, apart from his parents, had a decisive influence on the formation of his worldview:

Among such persons, Stepan Bandera also includes the sculptor Mykhailo Havrylk.
In addition, the future politician read a lot as a child.
