It is too early to set expectations for Crimea's liberation in spring 2023 - Kyrychevskyi, Defense Express expert
The Russian army is also undergoing evolution in this war and it will not fall completely, so that Ukrainian Armed Forces liberate Crimea in the spring of 2023.
Ivan Kyrychevskyi, Defense Express expert, told it "Espreso.TV" live on air.
"The forecast that our troops can liberate territories up to the 1991 border on the mainland by the beginning of spring 2023 and liberate Crimea by the end of spring relies only on our positive dynamics - improving the capabilities of Ukrainian Armed Forces," he said.
The expert noted that there is another important nuance.
"It is very important to get the maximum number of victories in 2 months, while Russian mobilized units are forming and have not gained minimal experience. Along with how the Ukrainian army evolves in a positive direction, Russians in the lower and middle ranks are also trying to evolve and oppose us. Provided that if the Russians will collapse and degrade, then the option of liberating Crimea by the end of spring looks likely, but Russians will not collapse and degrade everywhere. Unfortunately, it is too early to form expectations that Crimea will be ours already at the beginning of summer," Kyrychevskyi concluded.
