Iranian drones are vulnerable to the cold - Natalia Humeniuk
Iranian-made drones can freeze in cold temperatures, which explains the Russian forces' pause in using them against Ukraine.
Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk said this on the FREEDOM channel.
Natalia Humeniuk noted that the pause in the use of Iranian drones by the Russian forces is explained by their test conditions: the cold climate affects the flight ability of the equipment.
“The tests of these drones took place in the climatic conditions in which Iran is located. Our climatic conditions are somewhat different and, among them, they were most concerned about aerodynamics, the possibility of icing in the event of temperature changes, which could affect flight ability,” Operational Command South's press center head said.

On December 10, it was reported that units of the Air Command South shot down 10 Shahed drones that attacked the Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.
