Invading Russian forces shell Kharkiv: one person is killed, number of wounded increases to 6
Invading Russian forces have shelled the critical infrastructure of Kharkiv again. As a result, the city has no electricity or water supply
The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, wrote about this on Telegram.
"The situation of yesterday evening is being repeated. Due to the shelling, critical infrastructure facilities were disabled, as a result of which the light went out and the water supply was stopped in Kharkiv. Energy workers, rescuers, and utility workers are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling," Terekhov wrote.
Oleh Synyehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, wrote about the shelling on his Telegram channel earlier.
"To the attention of Kharkiv residents: stay in shelters! The occupiers have struck Kharkiv. Information about the victims is being clarified," he wrote.
He urged not to ignore the air raid alarm in any case.
"It became known that there was a hit on the road surface in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. Unfortunately, 1 person died. He is a 37-year-old man. According to the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance, a total of 6 people were injured, including an 18-year-old girl. She and a 33-year-old woman received minor injuries and did not require hospitalization," Synyehubov wrote.
Doctors assess the condition of 4 more wounded as moderate. They are provided with the necessary assistance in medical facilities.
