In honor of Biden, Ukrainians install plaque on Kyiv's Alley of Courage
A plaque honoring Joe Biden has been installed on the Alley of Courage in Kyiv as a sign of gratitude for his assistance to Ukraine
The President of Ukraine shared the information during a meeting with the US President on February 20.
He noted that the plaque is a sign of gratitude for "constant and unwavering powerful attention to our struggle and to the protection of Ukrainian democracy.”
"Today, on the Alley of Courage in Kyiv, we are unveiling a plaque dedicated to Mr. President Biden. The first call on the night of February 24 of last year, our negotiations, constant, unchanging, powerful attention to our struggle and attention to the protection of Ukrainian democracy, as well as the personal contribution of Mr. President Biden to strengthening the positions of freedom in the world — these are things that will always be in history," Zelenskyy said.
He also thanked the US and all Americans "who value freedom as much as Ukrainians do."
