In Crimea, arson attacks on military facilities have become systematic - Intelligence
In the annexed Crimea, pro-Ukrainian citizens systematically throw Molotov cocktails at military facilities. Russia has put its forces on high alert, and is conducting mass repression
The Main Intelligence Directorate reported this.
"Attacks on military targets using so-called Molotov cocktails (bottles with flammable mixture) have become systematic. The organizers and perpetrators of most of them are civilians who support Ukraine," the press service writes.
To counter such attacks, the Russian Armed Forces have been put on combat alert. "Suspicious persons" who may be involved in such incidents are being monitored. The use of physical violence and weapons is authorized. Mass arrests and detentions are being carried out.
A number of citizens who did not agree to receive Russian citizenship disappeared without a trace after their arrests. Those who are free are subject to administrative sanctions, high fines, and torture. People are deprived of their jobs, property and businesses.
Most of the detained and arrested are representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. Among them are Nariman Celâl, Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Timur Ibragimov, journalist and member of the Crimean Solidarity NGO, and Rustem Seitmemetov, a civil society activist.
