During Moscow visit, Lukashenko meant to ask for $5 billion in exchange for something – head of White Legion Bulba
Sergey Bulba, a Belarusian public figure and head of the White Legion, noted that Lukashenko usually asks for $1.5-2 billion, and his request for $5 billion is suspicious
He shared his take on the situation with Espreso TV.
Sergey Bulba commented on the likely reasons for Lukashenko's visit to Moscow on February 17 to meet with Putin.
"Lukashenko's words that he will not involve his army in the war are unambiguous. Moreover, later he threatens Ukraine by telling it that if his people are not killed, the Belarusian army will not participate in this war," the Belarusian public figure noted.
Sergey Bulba added that Lukashenko seems to be worried about his ‘serfs’, calling them "his own," although he is still illegitimate.
"However, the point is that Lukashenko was going to Moscow to ask for $5 billion. Usually he asks for $1.5-2 billion, but here he was going to ask for $5 billion. We were all a bit wary of what Lukashenko would sell to ask for $5 billion. Unfortunately, it remained a secret for us, and we still don't have this information. We don't know what he sold," Bulba said.
