Destroying 1,500 Russian tanks is needed to strip Russia of its military clout - Defense Express expert
The real combat capability of Russian tanks has become obvious since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine
Defense Express expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi said this on Espreso TV.
"According to some data, the Russian occupying forces now have 1,500 thousand tanks in service. It is difficult to calculate the number of tanks on the bases, if only because the Russian Federation declared that they had 10 thousand in their warehouses before the war, and their real combat capability has become obvious," he noted.
According to Kyrychevskyi, if the Russians had enough combat-ready T-72s and T-62s, they would not have gone into battle en masse.
"The Operational Command South reports that tanks are being destroyed from Bayraktar drones and captured. We can orient ourselves that 1,500 thousand is the figure that must be destroyed in order to leave the Russians without their armor fist," the expert concluded.
