Russia's eastern sector losses can be 7 to 8 times higher than Ukraine's
According to the latest reports, there are 52,000 occupying Russian forces in the Bakhmut direction. In total, Russia has assembled approximately 150,000 troops on the eastern front
Illya Yevlash, the head of the press service for the Eastern Group of Forces, revealed these numbers on the United News telethon.
Yevlash provided more details, stating, "They have stationed 52,000 personnel along with about 274 tanks, over 1,000 armored vehicles, approximately 150 artillery systems, and slightly more than 120 rocket launchers."
He also emphasized that Russia has amassed around 150,000 troops in the Eastern direction.
"Additionally, they have a significant amount of equipment, including roughly 1,000 tanks, about 3,000 armored combat vehicles, 1,000 artillery systems, and approximately 600 MLRS systems. It's a formidable force, but we are successfully defending our positions and advancing with minimal losses," added Yevlash.
He said that Russia has deployed a lot of soldiers encompassed in this number who do not have relevant combat experience, so the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding the line reliably, and intelligence always calculates all the Russians' plans.
"Moreover, with smaller forces, with the enemy air dominance, we continue to move forward with less losses. Sometimes the enemy's losses are 7-8 times higher than ours, which contradicts any military logic and science and demonstrates the professionalism, courage and heroism of our defenders," says Yevlash.
Regarding the supply to Russian forces, Yevlash said that the Russians have initial problems with logistics, but in general they are well equipped with various types of weapons, but sometimes they have to use decommissioned equipment.
