Crimean platform should contribute to deoccupation of other territories occupied by Russia - Zelenskyy
The world should make the format of Crimean platform a starting point for other platforms that will contribute to de-occupation of territories that were once enslaved by Russia, from Transnistria and Abkhazia to the Northern territories.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an address to the participants of the first parliamentary summit of Crimean Platform.
"We need three things now. We need sufficient and timely support of our state - defense, financial and sanctions. It is the foundation of future peace. Then, when we go to our state borders, we will need your experience - security, legal, political, social and infrastructural", he noted.
According to President, this is necessary in order to return a full-fledged life to Crimea after years of occupation, and justice to the people.
"Our cooperation must be maintained at a maximum even after the restoration of our territorial integrity. We must make the format of Crimean Platform a starting point for other humanitarian and diplomatic platforms that will promote de-occupation of other territories that were once enslaved - from Transnistria and Abkhazia to the Northern Territories", Zelenskyy concluded.
