Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Melanie Joly spoke in support of Ukraine's membership of NATO after Kyiv submitted an application for accelerated entry

Jolie announced this at a press conference with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Friday.

"As I have already said, we believe that Ukraine should be a member of NATO. We have been advocating this position for more than a decade. And we believe in the "open door" policy," said the head of the Canadian Foreign Ministry.

It is known that the Baltic states have already expressed their support for Ukraine's membership of the alliance.
