German military starts training Ukrainian soldiers on Leopard 2 main battle tank
This was announced by a spokeswoman for the German Ministry of Defense, Tagesschau reports.

The publication adds that the federal government has promised Ukraine 14 Leopard 2A6s. In addition, there are training programs for Ukrainian soldiers that have already begun in Germany on the Marder infantry fighting vehicle.
Defense Minister Boris Pistorius expects that the supply of main battle tanks to Ukraine will significantly strengthen the defense against Russian attackers, as the SPD politician said last Wednesday during a visit to the military in the city of Augustdorf.
