Bodies of farmers killed by Russian military are found in liberated Kherson region
According to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office, the bodies of farmer couple killed by the Russian military have been found in a basement in the liberated territory of the Kherson region
Prosecutors have documented another crime committed by the Russian army in the Kherson region. The bodies of a couple of farmers who were killed during the occupation were found.
“During investigative operations by law enforcement officers, the bodies of a man and a woman were discovered. During a superficial examination of the bodies, damage to the skulls was found,” the press service writes.
Investigators established that in August, during the occupation of the Arkhanhelske village of the Vysokopillia territorial community, Russian soldiers killed a local couple of farmers in their own basement.
The bodies have been sent for forensic examination.
A pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder, is ongoing.
