President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced new credit rules for businesses during the wartime
Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in his video message.
"Our government has prepared a decision to expand the lending program for entrepreneurs. Now any business can get a loan at a rate of 0% during wartime, plus 1 month after the war. A minimum rate of 5% should be continued. The total loan amount is up to UAH 60 million. So that the circle of businesses that can use our program is wider", the President of Ukraine said.
Zelensky also announced a reduction in regulations.
"Tomorrow the Cabinet of Ministers will vote for a large-scale reduction in regulations. There were more than 600 permits or licenses for businesses, and about 20 will remain. Only those that cannot be canceled. For the vast majority of businesses in Ukraine, the declarative principle will work - you announce the start of activities and you can work freely", Volodymyr Zelensky said.
According to the president, he entrusted a special task to the National Bank.
"A special task for the National Bank of Ukraine, for people's deputies and our officials. I instructed to find such a legislative opportunity that the state would guarantee 100% of deposits in a Ukrainian bank, the entire deposit. In any bank in our country. So that people do not lose money, no matter under what circumstances", Volodymyr Zelensky summed up the economic news.
