Allies help Ukraine gain advantage on battlefield - US Secretary of Defense on peace talks with Russia
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin says that Western allies are providing assistance to Ukraine to give the Ukrainian army advantages on the battlefield
He made the statement at a briefing after the Ramstein Group meeting, broadcast by Espreso TV.
The secretary has explained that the goal of Ukraine’s partners is to provide the country with the capabilities to successfully advance on the battlefield and they have achieved some success on the way to this goal. That is why Ukraine will receive 2 battalions of Bradley armored vehicles and 3 battalions of Stryker armored vehicles. According to Austin, this is a large amount of heavy equipment and is important for the course of the war. The US monitors European partners who are providing Ukraine with strong military assistance.

Counting all the military assistance to Ukraine that has been announced over the past few days, the secretary says the assistance looks powerful. If it is used correctly, the results and consequences will be very favorable for Ukraine. The US helps Ukraine in training its military. Austin believes that the whole complex of this assistance will give Ukraine what it needs, i.e. success on the battlefield.
