'Biden, give us air defense!' is over
Well, it's time to write a victory plan not for our allies, but for ourselves
In my opinion, Trump is not a disaster, but given his unpredictability, we should rely on our own strength first and foremost.
All victory plans that begin with the words: "Give us Tomahawks!" or "Close the sky!" can be safely thrown in the trash.
It used to be that American partners were bad for some people because they gave too few weapons for free. Now this will finally end, and you will have to pay for weapons. If you want a Patriot, you're welcome. UAH 40 billion and it's yours! Want a couple dozen missiles to go with it? Another couple billion, please.
“In such circumstances, we can only rely on ourselves. By the way, relying on yourself is not about mobilizing women, but about coming up with something smarter. Because throwing meat at the invaders won't work - there are simply more of them.”
We need a plan for victory in which the whole country wins, not a narrow stratum of activists who have endured two Maidans and the ATO, and have been fighting a great war for three years.
Trump is not a sentence. Trump is a reminder to Ukrainians of how the world works. In the real world, no one will fight for us because we are so brave and want to be in the EU.
The days of 'Biden, give us air defense!' are over. I would like to hope that the state of Ukraine is ready for this and that we have a plan for victory for ourselves somewhere.
