Chinese leader Xi Jinping met with Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev and called for finding diplomatic ways to end Russia's war against Ukraine

Xi Jinping during a conversation with Medvedev said that China "hopes all parties in the Ukraine crisis will maintain restraint and resolve security concerns through political means".
It is noted that Medvedev arrived in Beijing at the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party.
Xi Jinping told him that he hopes that the Chinese Communist Party and United Russia can contribute to deepening strategic cooperation between China and Russia.
