Putin's regime clearly has no successor
You may think this is nonsense. But it is not
You, as citizens of a democratic country, think that the succession of power happens in the following way: elections are announced, and various people who want to run for the highest positions put forward their candidacies. Then, in the elections, citizens choose, and whoever is elected is the next government.
But this is your point of view, the view of modern people. In the modern era, the source of power and legitimacy is a political nation.
The archaic model is completely different. In this model, there are no citizens and no political nation. Where does legitimacy come from then? The source of legitimacy is the Mandate of Heaven. The greatest fear is the fear of losing succession. Any successor is better than a war of all against all for the Iron Throne.
The Putin regime clearly has no successor. The elites will eat each other. In Soviet and post-Soviet history, it took 4 to 10 years for a new leader to stabilize power.
Our task is to ensure that the new leader has nothing to consolidate.
