Moldova reported energy disruptions on August 26 following Russian strikes on Ukraine

According to NewsMaker, power outages were observed within the Ukraine-Moldova energy block. However, Moldova's state enterprise, Moldelectrica, assured that the situation remains under control.
"Moldelectrica reports disruptions in the energy system of the Ukraine-Moldova common block due to attacks on critical Ukrainian infrastructure. The situation is under control. We have sufficient local generation to manage minor disruptions," stated the company.
- On the evening of August 25, the Russian military launched drone attacks over Ukraine. By the morning of August 26, 11 Russian Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 aircraft were observed in action. The attacks resulted in casualties, injuries, and destruction in several regions.
