Liquidation of Navalny influence Munich conference rhetoric - political analyst Kulyk
Vitaliy Kulyk, political scientist, director of the Center for Civil Society Research, noted that the voices of those who could advocate peace talks or a reset in Russia's war against Ukraine were not heard at the Munich Security Conference
He spoke about this on Espreso TV.
"Those who are attending the Munich Security Conference and the insider information that is available indicate that the very fact of Navalny's elimination, his murder by the Putin regime, has affected the rhetoric and the tone of the Munich Conference. The voices of those who could advocate for reconciliation, a reset, a different view alternative to the mainstream, and the possibility of a conflict freeze are almost unheard at the conference. These voices were hardly heard at the Munich conference," the political scientist emphasized.
Vitaliy Kulyk noted that those who could talk at the European level about finding a peaceful way out of the situation, about exchanging territory for peace - all these concepts were pushed aside in the wake of Navalny's death.
