IAEA inspects Chornobyl NPP
Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) conducted an inspection at the State Specialized Enterprise Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (ChNPP)
The press service of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine reported the information.
The inspection lasted from January 31 to February 2 under the agreement between Ukraine and the IAEA in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
The inspection was carried out by the Agency's inspectors with the participation of the SNRIU inspector.
"The purpose of the inspections is to verify the absence of undeclared nuclear materials and information on the design of the nuclear facility provided by Ukraine in accordance with the Agreement," the SNRIU explained.
According to them, the inspection was carried out without any comments.

Earlier, on January 19-28, the IAEA conducted an inspection at the South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant.
