Trump's 'hawks' must not repeat Obama's mistake — Ukrainian diplomat
Diplomat Volodymyr Ohryzko, head of the Center for Russian Studies, warns that it would be highly dangerous if Trump acts solely to win a Nobel Peace Prize instead of focusing on democratic system

He shared this opinion on Espreso TV.
"The key is that Trump's 'hawks' don’t repeat Obama’s mistake when he became a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. If Trump becomes fixated on this idea, it could lead to a very dangerous scenario for us. He might sacrifice Ukraine or other countries just to achieve that prize," the diplomat said.
In his view, the priority should be convincing these 'hawks' to show Trump that he can go down in history as a president like Reagan or Eisenhower — leaders who protected the democratic system from collapse amid the kind of aggression Putin is pursuing. That, he argued, would be far greater and more significant than any Nobel Peace Prize.
