Air defense operation in Kyiv
At 8:02 p.m., Kyiv City Military Administration Chief Tkachenko said that air defense was working. Mayor Klitschko clarified that the air defense system is working on the left bank.
At 8:10 p.m., the media reported a drone over Kyiv. At 8:18 p.m., Klitschko wrote that the threat of the Shahed drones continues.
Later, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that the wreckage of the downed drone fell into a pond in the Dnipro district.
“Preliminary, no fire and no injuries,” they added.
Mykolaiv attack
The first explosions were heard in the city at 10:41 pm. Later at 11:06 p.m., Mayor Senkevych wrote.
20 minutes later, the head of the Regional Military Administration Kim wrote: “The Russians attacked the city of Mykolaiv with seven Shaheds. There is damage to apartment buildings, fires have started.”
The mayor added that firefighting is underway in an apartment building.
“We are evacuating the population. We are organizing hot meals and blankets for the residents. A private house has been destroyed. An injured woman has been rescued from the rubble. There is destruction and fire at an infrastructure facility. Rescuers are also working,” Senkevych wrote.
At 11:53 pm, Kim wrote: “As of now, there are two victims of the attack. The condition is moderate.”
Strike on Sumy
At 10:11 p.m., the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, reported a Shahed attack on the private sector in the city.
“Several houses were damaged, windows were smashed, and a wall was also breached. All services are working at the scene, the State Emergency Service is extinguishing the fire. An emergency response headquarters will be deployed tomorrow,” he said.
