West and United States “permanently attack Russia” - Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

"We are going through an unusual process. Russia is not an ordinary state, it is a powerful state. Of course, the West, especially America, attacks Russia almost permanently. Amid all this, of course, Russia is now resisting," Erdoğan said.

He hopes to hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the G20 summit. They also plan to discuss the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

"During my last meeting with Putin, I told him I thought it appropriate for him to come to Indonesia. Then it was decided that the minister of foreign affairs would come to Indonesia. I hope to contact him there," Erdoğan explained.

The Turkish president hopes he will have the opportunity to talk with Lavrov about the steps Russia should take. Namely about a dialogue that should be transformed into peace.
