China can play tremendous role in ending Russia’s war on Ukraine — Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that China could play a huge role in ending Russia's war against Ukraine, as Moscow is highly dependent on the Chinese export market
He said this in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to Zelenskyy, if the United States and China unite and put aside their differences, they can end the war in Ukraine. At the same time, the president suggested that China could play a " tremendous role in ending the war," as Russia depends on its export market.
The Ukrainian leader also commented on Donald Trump's plan to end the war.
“If Trump knows how to finish this war, he should tell us today,” Zelenskyy said in a Bloomberg Television interview in Kyiv on Wednesday. “If there are risks to Ukrainian independence, if we lose statehood – we want to be ready for this, we want to know.”
The Ukrainian leader complained about the delays in weapons deliveries from Western allies and said he was “potentially ready” to meet with Trump.
“They can’t plan my life and life of our people and our children,” he said. “We want to understand whether in November we will have the powerful support of the US, or will be all alone.”
