Admiral Sokolov was liquidated along with the Black Sea Fleet headquarters building in Sevastopol

After the strike on the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol, 34 officers were eliminated, including commander Viktor Sokolov. This was reported by the AFU Special Operations Forces.

"Taking into account the fact that the Minsk landing ship was to go on combat duty the next day, the personnel were present at the ship," the military explained the decision to strike.

As a result of the special operation to destroy the large landing ship Minsk and the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the enemy lost 62 people. Another 105 servicemen were wounded. The headquarters building cannot be restored.

For the first time, Ukraine is going to spend the winter with only its own gas

For the first time, Ukraine plans to go through the upcoming heating season using only domestically produced gas. This was stated by Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine, during the telethon.

"I would like to remind you that we are increasing the volumes of gas produced by ourselves, and these figures are growing. This year, Naftogaz drilled a record number of new wells, and next year we will continue this trend. We are gradually abandoning the "tradition" of importing gas. We plan to get through this winter using gas produced in Ukraine, and our calculations confirm this possibility," Chernyshov said.

The company is confident that Ukraine will go through the heating season without any shocks, not only in terms of natural gas supply, but also without changes in the cost for the population. At the same time, Chernyshov called for a responsible attitude to gas use and energy efficiency.

"We are absolutely confident about the upcoming winter. We have enough gas and stable tariffs. I ask all consumers to ensure energy efficiency measures and treat this type of energy responsibly. This is Ukrainian production, our common achievement," he said.

Kursk airfield and Interior Ministry building attacked in Russia

In the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two important targets in two days. This was reported by the Ukrainian Liga.net media with reference to its own source in the Main Intelligence Directorate.

On September 24, an unknown drone attacked the Khalino military airfield in the Kursk region. The 14th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment named after Zhdanov, which is armed with Su-30SM aircraft, is based at this airfield.

Initially, the drone was allegedly intercepted in the air with the help of electronic warfare and landed on the airport runway. The interception of the "Ukrainian UAV" was reported by local Telegram channels. However, when the regiment's command and officers were inspecting the trophy UAV, it detonated. The regimental commander, his deputy, and a group of aviation officers were injured in the explosion. "It took a long time to take out the dead and wounded," the source said.

On the morning of September 25, explosions occurred in Kursk. According to preliminary data, a Ukrainian drone hit the building of the Interior Ministry’s office in the Kursk region.
